SCS Cheer - Southcrest Christian School

School spirit is the heart of Southcrest Christian School.

Our Southcrest Lady Warrior Cheerleaders lead with Warrior spirit as they cheer at SCS athletic events, lead our school pep rallies held throughout the school year and participate in events like the halftime shows for Texas Tech Basketball games.

About Cheerleading

Our Cheerleaders are not only leaders on the sidelines and in pep rallies, but they are also leaders in the classroom. Tryouts are held in the spring of each school year. Our cheerleaders are selected not only for their talent and abilities, but also for their strong character and leadership.

Our HS Cheer team competed for the first time in the TAPPS State Championship in 2016 and took home the 2nd Place trophy! Go Warriors!

Tryouts

Cheer tryouts are held in the spring of the previous school year. Cheer uniform purchase is required to participate in cheer. Cheer Camp attendance in the summer, prior to the school year (date to be set by the cheer coach), is also required.

Participation Rules

To participate in athletics, all athletes must have a current physical, complete the required athletic forms, and pay the athletic fee associated with their sport/s. Athletes may choose one sport per season.

The Southcrest Christian School athletic program is governed by the rules and regulations of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).
