What makes a great school?

We could tell you about small class sizes, our 4-day school schedule, great teachers, athletics, award-winning programs, etc. Instead, we would like to tell you about the heart of our school and the direction to which we are striving.

The compelling trait of a Christian school is an intentional plan to develop the spiritual formation of each student in an ongoing relationship with Christ. Each student will be empowered to live a life characterized by love, trust, and obedience to God. This ongoing relationship will stimulate continuous growth, both intellectually and spiritually.

The academic plan incorporates a philosophy of high expectations that allows each student the opportunity to work toward their personal best.

Southcrest Christian School seeks to bring the home, the church and the school into a partnership for the purpose of training children to become intelligent believers who can articulate their worldview in a society full of opposing ideas and theology. Students are encouraged at home and at school to develop an intrinsic desire to strive for their full potential.
