The purpose of the athletic program at Southcrest Christian School is to provide students a setting to glorify God through the development and exercise of personal character, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and athletic ability. Student athletes are encouraged to do their best and to learn the vital life skill of being a team player. In victory or defeat, students are taught to demonstrate both grace and dignity.

Southcrest Christian School offers competitive team and individual sports in basketball, volleyball, golf, tennis, cross-country, cheerleading and track and field. Students may begin participating in sports in 6th grade for those who would like to use athletics towards their physical education credits. Our middle school teams compete against other private schools and homeschool teams as members of West Texas Christian Athletics Association. Our high school teams compete against other private school teams as members of Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).
