About SCS
At Southcrest Christian School we take the Biblical mandate to parents very seriously. It is our desire to assist you, the primary educators of your children, with the task of training your children in the ways of the Lord. We seek to do this through the use of a Bible-centered curriculum, committed Christian teachers, weekly chapel services, and dedication to academic excellence. Southcrest Christian School is currently offering classes from Pre-K through 8th Grade, where your children will be challenged both academically and spiritually in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and encouragement.

School Philosophy
Southcrest Christian School operates as a self-supported ministry of Southcrest Baptist Church. It extends the Christian home and church into the school program in order to provide a consistent Christian world view for children in the Lubbock community. We believe that all Truth and Wisdom comes from God, and that the Bible is the ultimate authority for teaching standards for life and education. The education received at Southcrest Christian School is founded upon God and His Truth.

Southcrest Christian School has been a member of the Association of Christian Schools International since 1993 and is a charter member of the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools.
